I was wondering if its possible to break any bits by inputing too many amps with the usb power. I know that the cloud bit needs 2 amps to properly run, but would running any thing higher run the risk of breaking any bits? To be specific I have a 3.4 amp external battery that I would like to use.
This is a great question! There is no risk of damage if you use your external battery with your USB power. A rating of 3.4 amps means the battery is capable of supplying 3.4 amps, but the circuit will only draw the amperage it needs.
Thanks for replying! This is actually really helpful to know! Now that you have said that, this usb to 9v adapter should work right?
