Data collection Using Little Bits

First timer looking to order little bits to teach students about the design process behind heart rate/pulse sensors. I am hoping to create a pulse sensor using little bits and a sparkfun pulse sensor. Is there a way to hook up the little bits to a computer or tablet to collect heart rate data? If so, what pieces would you recommend for our kits? We have been considering the bluetooth bit and the cloud bit to communicate virtually, but I haven’t figured out how to get the bits to record data students can analyze. Any suggestions would be appreciated-thanks!

You can use cloudBit and IFTTT to write data to a Google spreadsheet:

Thanks for the help Chris!
