My name is OutaSpaceMan.
35yrs ago I formed an electronic band.
We played 'minimalist synth pop'. (Not my description).
Back then I used the most advanced synth/sequencer I could afford in the shape of an EDP Wasp & Spider.
People laughed at my 'stylophone'.
Fast forward to now.
I have been approached for a band reunion.
I had to get a synth and in keeping with my philosophy of advanced/cheap, I bought a Synth Kit.
I'm impressed, and the haters still hate. (fools).
I think I've made the right decision, but being in the UK supply of bits, MIDI/CV I/o especially, is poor.
(Pity the unfortunate supplier I've asked, and paid, to get the bits for me when I ring up every week to find out if the bits are at the distributors yet.)
I've managed to cobble a HDK Proto Bit CV in for my Korg SQ-01 which works as expected, but I came to this forum to try and find out if I can get a trigger pulse out of the MicroSequencer to drive my Teenage Engineering OP-12.
Over & out.
