When Barnes and Noble hosted the Mini Makers Fair a few weeks ago, my boss had put me in charge of a few of the events during the fair. One of the events was the LittleBits Demo and workshop. As always I like to be prepared when I host events, so I came here and started doing some research, and may have gotten a little obsessed with all the things these little guys can do.
AMAZING! the events went well, and the kids and parents had lots of fun. About a week later I approached by boss about starting a chapter at the Barnes & Noble, she was really excited.
Saying we could host events once a month, put the info on the website to draw people in, the whole deal. I've already got ideas for the first few events to try to draw people in and start building a steady group for our hopeful, future chapter. We will be starting in Jan with the official events, but if we get approve for chapterhood, I can start telling people about it now to get them excited.
